JBJS Article on the Environmental Impact of Orthopaedic Surgery
President Tony Chang co-authored an article with Stanford orthopedic surgeons to investigate the environmental impact of orthopedic surgery. The article explores ideas for creating greener operating rooms, such as using minimal operating room packets, environmentally friendly anesthesiology gasses, and laundered gowns.

Laundered Gowns in the medical world
Since 2022, the Stanford Climate and Health Team has been advocating for the use of laundered gowns in healthcare settings at Stanford. A trial is currently underway at Stanford ValleyCare to explore the feasibility of using laundered gowns in the Maternal Child Ward.

Since its inception, TALLPHA has been heavily involved in campuses across America. Strengthening ties and getting the message of sustainability out to a wider audience.

TALLPHA has given the oppurtunity for Public Schools in Southern California to begin the conversation on sustanable practices.

Nonprofit Collaboration
TALLPHA has recently partnered with Madhatter Knits another 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated for NICU beanies. TALLPHA collaborated with Madhatter Knits to advocate and advice for more sustianable (locally) sourced materials and sustainable practices for NICU beanies.
